Saint-Gobain Ceramics' current NSiC technology results from the synergistic integration of the best manufacturing practices and application know how from Norton (
Advancer®) and AnnaWerk (
AnnaSicon® 28).
|
NSiC are fine grained, nitride-bonded silicon carbide materials, shaped by slip casting. The composition of the green body includes silicon powder.
The Si3N4 based bond is formed in-situ by firing the body in a nitrogen atmosphere.

|
Saint-Gobain Ceramics range currently includes Advancer®, Anna Sicon® RT, AnnaSicon® RTH and Cryston® CN550 C.
Advancer®, AnnaSicon® RT and AnnaSicon® RTH are used in kiln furniture systems.
The selection of The three latter products primarily depends of the service temperature in oxidizing conditions.we also recomended using
AnnaSicon® RTH to prevent ware from sticking at high temperature .

Warning :
The presence of any amount of water in Advancer®, AnnaSicon® RT and AnnaSicon® RTH, refractory components during the rapid heat-up process of the kiln may cause the product's surface to explode. Accordingly, it is important to protect all Advancer®, AnnaSicon® RT and AnnaSicon® RTH, refractory components from any moisture including rain, condensation, or other penetrating moisture.
