Tableware & Pottery

Tableware and Pottery/Artware includes bisque, glost and decoration firing of hard porcelain, bone china, vitreous china, dinnerware, earthernware, artware and pottery applications.

Whether you fire in continuous or batch kilns, our LO-MASS® kiln furniture system maximises use of kiln volume, while minimizing mass.
It applies to traditional and fast firing systems with manual or automated loading and unloading.

With firing temperatures of up to 1420°C, typical kiln furniture frameworks are based on  Advanced SiC products : Crystar® 2000 or Advancer® multi-lug posts and beams that support Crystar® 2000 batts. An alternative approach is to use specially designed SiC setters supported by AnnaMullit  mullite spacers.
In case of automatic handling AnnaSicon® RTH may be preferred over Advancer® for better coating adherence and less sticking issues.

Traditional firing still uses cordierite  AnnaCorit or silicated bonded SiC AnnaCarbide94 plate setters.

All setting surfaces in contact with the ware need to be coated to minimize sticking of the ware. Our application engineers will work with you to select the most effective coating.
